Kérastase Paris is a globally recognised leader in professional luxury haircare, available exclusively in the world’s finest salons across more than 45 countries. Renowned for advanced technology and innovation, the brand has earned an enduring premium reputation.
My role was to consistently communicate this elevated, high-end luxury across all marketing touchpoints. This included the development of sophisticated campaign imagery, the production of pristine, whiter-than-white brochures with refined embellishments, and the delivery of meticulously crafted design and production values across every communication piece.
I was appointed as the key creative lead responsible for all product photography and retouching used in Kérastase Paris marketing materials throughout Australia. While model imagery was supplied from France, any retouching requirements were managed through strict international approval channels. Using my specialised EIZO colour-accurate monitor, I identified inconsistencies in three model images that required correction to accurately reflect the brand’s colour palette in print. Although initially unapproved, the issue was later confirmed post-print and retouching was approved for reprint—demonstrating the importance of colour-critical expertise in premium brand production.
